What IPTV Smarters Pro is, and what it isn't
A lot of people search for an "IPTV Smarters Pro subscription" expecting the app to come with channels. It doesn't. IPTV Smarters Pro is a free third-party player, and its channel list stays empty until you log in with a subscription. Installing IPTV Smarters Pro on your device
The app is available on most platforms, though store listings vary by region and change over time.
Android phones and boxes
Search Google Play. If it isn't listed in your region, Android boxes can sideload it with the Downloader app.
Fire TV Stick
Install the free Downloader app, allow it to install unknown apps, then download Smarters through it. Our Firestick guide shows each screen.
Windows and Mac
A desktop version is offered for Windows and macOS, handy for a laptop or second monitor.
iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
On Apple devices it has been offered on the App Store as Smarters Player Lite, with the same login screens.
Some smart TVs
Some smart TV stores carry a Smarters build. If yours doesn't, a Fire TV Stick or Android box does the job.

Logging in to IPTV Smarters Pro
Keep your welcome email open. It takes about two minutes.
Choose Login with Xtream Codes API
Open the app, accept the terms and pick "Login with Xtream Codes API". It brings in channels, movies, series and the guide together.
Enter your details
Type any name, then your username, password and the server URL exactly as shown in your email, including http:// and the port.
Tap Add User and wait for the download
Smarters downloads your channels, VOD and TV guide. The first load can take a minute, so let it finish.
Open Live TV and start watching
Pick a category and a channel. The guide view shows what's on now and next.
M3U, EPG and catch-up
Prefer a playlist link? Choose "Load your playlist or file/URL" instead and paste the M3U link from your dashboard. It works, but the Xtream Codes login is faster and pulls in the guide automatically.
With an Xtream Codes login the EPG loads by itself. If the guide stays blank, reload the EPG from Settings and wait a few minutes. Our article on fixing an EPG that won't load covers the rarer cases. Channels marked with a catch-up or archive icon let you go back in the guide and replay programmes that already aired.

Common IPTV Smarters Pro login errors
Most failed logins come down to a typo. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive, and a stray space at the end is invisible on a TV keyboard, so retype them slowly.
The next most common cause is the server URL. It must start with http:// and end with the port number shown in your email. Leaving out the port, or typing https:// when the email says http://, will stop the login.
