MAG box IPTV

MAG box IPTV with a Portal URL activated for your box

No apps to install. Give us your MAG box's MAC address, enter the Portal URL we send you, and 35,000+ live channels load straight into the box's own menu.

How MAG box IPTV works

MAG boxes from Infomir, such as the MAG 322, 324, 424 and 524, don't use a username and password like most IPTV players. Instead, the box connects to a Portal URL, and that portal recognizes the box by its MAC address. If the MAC address hasn't been activated on the portal, the box simply won't load any channels.

That's why setting up a MAG IPTV subscription has one extra step: you send us the MAC address, we activate it on your Open Tivi portal, and we send you the Portal URL. Your login details arrive by email within minutes and are also shown in your Open Tivi dashboard.

Once you're connected, the portal delivers the full line-up: 35,000+ live channels from 120+ countries and 95,000+ movies and series on demand, in HD and FHD with 4K on supported channels. See what's included on our channel list.

Why MAG

What you get on a MAG box

A dedicated set-top box with a remote, a TV guide and nothing else to maintain.

Built in TV guide

The EPG comes through the portal, so the guide fills on its own. There's no separate EPG link to add.

Simple remote control

Channel up, channel down and a familiar guide button. Easy for anyone in the house to use.

Movies and series

Video on demand sits in its own section of the portal menu, with 95,000+ titles refreshed every week.

Catch-up

Replay programmes that already aired on channels that support catch-up, straight from the guide.

Stable wired connection

MAG boxes have an Ethernet port, which gives the steadiest picture for HD and 4K streams.

Works on Formuler too

Formuler boxes running the MyTVOnline app support the same portal and MAC setup, or an Xtream Codes login.

Setup

Activating your MAG box in four steps

Menu names can differ slightly between MAG models and firmware versions, but the path is the same.

01

Find your MAC address

It's printed on the sticker under the box and shown in Settings, then Device info. MAG MAC addresses start with 00:1A:79.

02

Send it to us

Type the MAC address in the order note when you choose a plan, or send it afterwards through our contact page. We activate it and email you the Portal URL.

03

Enter the Portal URL

On the box, go to Settings, then Servers, then Portals. Type a name such as Open Tivi in Portal 1 name and the Portal URL in Portal 1 URL, then save.

04

Restart and watch

Go back and restart the portal or reboot the box. It connects to the portal, loads the channel list and the guide, and you're ready.

Troubleshooting MAG box IPTV

"Portal not found" or "authorization failed" almost always means one of two things. Either the MAC address hasn't been activated yet, or there's a typo in the Portal URL. Check the URL character by character against your email, including http:// at the start, and confirm the MAC you sent matches the one in Device info. A single wrong digit, or confusing 0 with O, is enough to stop it.

If both are correct and you ordered only a few minutes ago, give the activation a moment and restart the box. If the box loads but streams stutter, plug it in with Ethernet and make sure you have about 10 Mbps per screen for HD, or 25 Mbps for 4K.

Replacing your box? A new box has a new MAC address, so send us the new one and ask our team to update the activation. Our team is available 24/7 by email and WhatsApp.

Formuler and other set-top boxes

Formuler boxes use the MyTVOnline app, which accepts either a portal with MAC activation or an Xtream Codes login. Most other set-top boxes with a portal option follow the same MAC process. For anything else, including Android boxes and smart TVs, our installation guides cover every supported device.

MAG questions

MAG box IPTV: common questions

Infomir MAG 322, 324, 424 and 524 all work, along with similar MAG models and other boxes that support portal and MAC activation.

On the sticker underneath the box, and on screen under Settings, then Device info. It starts with 00:1A:79.

No. The TV guide is delivered through the portal, so it appears automatically once the box connects.

Usually the MAC address isn't activated yet, or the Portal URL has a typo. Double-check both, restart the box, and contact support if it still won't connect.

Yes, with a plan that has 2 or more connections. The MAG box uses the portal, and your other devices use the Xtream Codes or M3U login from the same account.
